external linkPeter Cushing, as always, makes an intruiging villain, and the eventual revelation of what the "silent scream" of the title is is interesting. However, most of this is pretty standard fare, and a little illogic tarnishes one scene that might be more chilling. 2.5/5

external linkThis little horror film from the early, slasher 1980s has a pretty slow pace and a low body count. It was one of the earliest "Halloween" rip-offs. Despite some unremarkable acting by lead Balding and dull scenes with Mitchell as a police detective, the film has its moments.
