GORAN VISNJIC portrays Alek Spera, a mysterious blackmailer with a soft touch. Visnjic is best known to television audiences around the world for his role as the troubled Dr. Luka Kovac on "ER," a role that has given him international recognition.
Visnjic first gained attention as the Bosnian driver Risto in Michael Winterbottom's critically acclaimed film WELCOME TO SARAJEVO. He went on to star in such films as COMMITTED with Heather Graham and PRACTICAL MAGIC with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman and THE PEACEMAKER with George Clooney.
A native of Croatia, Visnjic has been acting in films and on stage since his youth, and still returns to Dubrovnik every summer to perform the role of Hamlet in the city's annual theater festival. He now lives in the Los Angeles Area with his sculptor wife Ivana.
Visnjic will next be seen in the independent film DOCTOR SLEEP and his voice will be heard in the animated feature THE ICE AGE.
