Plot: Natalie (Emmanuelle Beart) and Louise (Pascale Bussieres) were childhood friends who had a devastating falling out. Ten years later, they meet by chance, and rekindle their friendship. The terms of their relationship have changed greatly, however--Natalie is a successful actress, and Louise worships the ground she walks on. This sets the two on a destructive, co-dependent course that leads to tragedy. Director Catherine Corsini examines the complex interactions of women and the overlapping passion and rivalry that exist in female friendships.
