But Michael Myers has other plans for Laurie...Back in the sleepy town of Haddonfield, Illinois, Freddie Harris, an ambitious entrepreneur, is ready to make some money with his new "reality" Internet event called Dangertainment. It’s just a shame that Jamie Lee Curtis’ last Halloween appearance and an amazing Myers house set were wasted in this disappointing sequel that Busta Rhymes helped send to the bottom of the pile.--Ian Button (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
After seeing trailers and learning of the premise hopes weren't high for this sequel but really the whole story idea turns out to work a bit better than expected and thanks to the films good sense of humour and director Rosenthal using his chance to get all stylish with the camera thanks to the technological aspect of the script this turns out to be a muscular and watchable sequel that might not be the best of the set but will still please the fans of the later films in the series. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
...unlike every other Halloween film, this movie has failed to capture any sense of impending doom. And without that, Halloween: Resurrection is just another forgettable slasher flick. 36/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
A direct-to-video piece of dung that somehow slithered its way into theaters, "Halloween: Resurrection" is arguably the worst of the entire eight-picture slasher franchise. ... The major flaw is that there's positively no suspense in the story after Curtis' cameo.-- (eSplatter.com)

Dear Sweet Jesus give me back the hour and forty some odd minutes of my life I wasted to see this film! It's like something crawled out of Satan's anal cavity, ate some bad chinese and shat out this movie. --Christopher (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
Better than the previous Halloween film, but still not much of an improvement. Lame cast and story. No scares and Michael looked rather funny with all his black makeup behind his mask. It was still good to see him in action though. Good watch if you're a 6/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
