JAMES BROLIN (Frabbrizio Disguisey), who recently starred as General Ralph Landry in the Academy Award-winning feature Traffic opposite Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, has enjoyed phenomenal success as one of television's most popular leading men. The recipient of two Golden Globe Awards, he rocketed to fame and won an Emmy Award during his seven-year stint starring as Dr. Steven Kiley opposite Robert Young in ABC's hit series Marcus Welby, M.D. He moved on to star for five years as Peter McDermott, the suave general manager of ABC's hit Hotel. Brolin has established himself as a director of dramatic series television with credits that inclue many episodes of the syndicated action-drama series Pensacola: Wings of Gold (for which he also executive produced and starred), in addition to many episodes of Hotel and the ensemble western series, The Young Riders.
Brolin made his motion picture debut in Take Her, She's Mine with James Stewart and Sandra Dee, starred opposite Jacqueline Bisset in The Capetown Affair and Charlton Heston in Skyjacked, and was the terrorized head of the household in the phenomenally successful feature thriller The Amityville Horror. He starred in Capricorn One, Westworld and Gable and Lombard, in which he portrayed Clark Gable. In addition to his many television projects, Brolin produced and starred in the critically acclaimed independent film Cheatin' Hearts, and starred in Allison Anders' well-received drama Gas, Food, Lodging. Among his most recent feature film work includes My Brother's War, which received the Best Film prize at the Hollywood Film Festival and marked Brolin's feature film directorial debut.
