DAKOTA FANNING (Ray Schleine), the youngest actor to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award (for her performance opposite Sean Penn in I Am Sam), is currently filming a starring role opposite Mike Myers in Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat.

Within two weeks of signing an agent, this Georgia native filmed three commercials and starred on stage as the lead in the production of Rainbow Fish. Fanning has raked up numerous film and television credits, including Sweet Home Alabama, The Ellen Show, Ally McBeal, The Practice, Malcolm in the Middle, Strong Medicine, C.S.I., Spin City and ER. On television, she recently starred in the hit sci-fi miniseries Taken presented by Steven Spielberg.
