Though not quite on par with the same-titled film starring Alistair Sim, this version of A Christmas Carol is quite good nonetheless. A wealthy miser learns how wonderful and fulfilling life can be with a little generosity at Christmas time from three spectres who visit him the night before Christmas. June Lockheart's first screen appearance.
