DAME JUDI DENCH was most recently seen in her Academy Award nominated performance as Iris Murdoch in Iris. Other recent films include The Shipping News, Chocolat (for which she was nominated for an Academy Award) Shakespeare In Love (for which she won a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award and a BAFTA award) and Mrs Brown (for which she received a Best Actress Academy Award nomination and won a BAFTA award). She played M in the James Bond films The World Is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies and Goldeneye. Her extensive stage work includes Amy’s View, directed by Richard Eyre (for which she received a Tony Award for Best Actress), A Little Night Music, The Seagull, Coriolanus, The Plough and the Stars, Macbeth, The Cherry Orchard, Look Back In Anger, Much Ado About Nothing and Cabaret.
