Plot: A man flees a disturbed past and an empty future pursued by the law, a psychopathic killer, and a woman who still loves him. His goal is to seek sanctuary in the tiny town of Midian, somewhere in central Canada. In this town, which appears on the surface to be nothing but a graveyard, but "Midian is where the monsters go," according to legend. Under the graves lies a massive complex for the lost souls to live, but at a terrible price. Adapted by Clive Barker from his novel, "Cabal."

 I guess the best way to describe this is "The Wizard Of Oz" of horror movies. Surreal, eerie, and just plain freaky, it's really something you just have to experience.--Sonny Fernandez (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Barker based this on his novella Cabal and came up with this highly original, action-packed, effects filled and grandly entertaining film. Easily the best horror movie of 1990.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
