After being exposed to radioactivity from a plutonium explosion, Lt. Col. Glenn Manning starts getting bigger and bigger. Scientists study him and find that he's growing at a rate of 10 feet per day.
As doctors attempt to find a cure for Manning's condition, his fiancee, Carol Forrest, tries to comfort him.
But the Colonel's mind begins to snap as he gets larger. Finally, angry at being locked up in an isolated army building, he escapes and flees to Las Vegas. Crazed and now 70 feet tall, Manning makes his way to the Vegas hotel strip, where he causes havoc.
Will the scientists be able to find an antidote? Or will the Army have to destroy Manning to stop further destruction?
