Plot: A modernist musical about the first stirrings of British teen culture. The young hero, an aspiring photographer, faces a moral dilemma: stick to his values and stay poor -- or sell out and become rich enough to win back his materialistic, fashion designer girlfriend. In the process, he takes the viewer on a musical tour of London's changing politics and styles in the late 1950s.
