“The characters have such a wonderful relationship,” says Fonda. “I’m crazy about her, actually I’m crazy about both Ruby and Wanda. We work well together, and whenever possible, even if it isn’t in the script, Viola can always blame things on Ruby and count on her for a funny reaction.”
Everyone on set was delighted for the happy couple when they returned to the Ventura County shooting location the Monday following their low-key wedding. During production, Jennifer hosted multiple set visits for kids from Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles (who recently honored her with their first Humanitarian Award) and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
