There’s some decent moments (the 'Freddy cycle' is pretty neat) and the script works hard at giving us some backstory on Freddy making this a mostly entertaining effort. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
The whole Freddy Krueger concept got really tired by the fifth movie, at the time the worst in the series.-- (eSplatter.com)
