Reality Check (USA) | 12/29/2005 | Give me a break!
Christian, right. Frank, take a look at the Bible again and this time look at the context of the verses. Yes we are to love all people even those who live in sin as depicted in this movie, but we can still see sin for what it is, a seperation from God. Check out these verses: 1 Cor 6: 9-11. Basically Paul is writting that "homosexuals" will not inherit the kingdom of GOD. This movie is just another attempt by Hollywood to sugar coat a sinnful lifestyle and one that leads to Hell not love. We are called, as Christains, to love all people and that includes sinners as we are all guilty of sin, but we must not support this lifestlye or the industries that prompte it. God Bless and may you and your sunday school class open and read the Bible instead of attending movies that glorify sin.

Frank Bennett (Fort Walton Beach) | 12/16/2005 | The best romance and the best Western of all time
I've never been a fan of romances, gay movies, or Westerns, but this movie is incredible. Everyone should see it. My Sunday school class is touring Los Angeles this month on a missionary trip and a dozen of us went to see it last weekend. We were blown away by its universal truth. Even if you've never met a cowboy, you will understand exactly what the characters are feeling, especially if you've ever been in love and even more so if you've ever had your heart broken. As a Christian, I found it extremely meaningful, as the story reflected the Biblical truths that “to God, there is neither male nor female” (Galatians 3:28) and “the greatest of these is love”. Love is always beautiful, but when it has to overcome bigotry and adversity, it can be even more transcendent.
