There’s a theme running through “Accepted” on the futility of the modern college system. It isn’t hateful to higher education, but questions the priorities of the students who willingly succumb to the expensive grind. The plot's absurdity is freely admitted, I suspect even by the filmmakers. Yet the exuberance and free-spirited merriment of it all more than make up for it. A perfectly adequate summertime diversion, Accepted merits a passing grade. [read review] --TIM KNIGHT (Reel.com)
