Halloween 5 Reviews |
I would not call this a great Halloween film, but it was pretty good. The writers (four of them according to the credits) went out of their way to introduce new plot elements to the film, including the mysterious stranger, the tattoo, and more. [read review] -- (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
So while Halloween 5 is still the worst of Michael's killing sprees in my opinion, I no longer look down on this film as I have now noticed the many creative and suspensful moments created in the movie. [read review] --Ian Button (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Overall this is a bearable follow-up that's directed competently, is well enough acted and has a couple of okay dispatches; but suffers from a unfocused script and poor sequel set-up at the end. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
...all in all, the film doesn't hold up, and won't make any sense if you're not familiar with Part 4, itself not a great film. [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
Despite a potentially interesting plot twist, this film is below average--it's unimaginitive. [read review] 42/100 --Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
