Genre: Comedy, Showbiz, Satire, Culture Clash
Plot: Based on the British sketch comedy show of the same name, STELLA STREET stars Phil Cornwell, John Sessions, and Ronni Ancona in a multitude of roles as they impersonate celebrities. The premise posits Cornwell's Michael Caine moving to the suburban Stella Street; he likes it so much that Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, and Jack Nicholson all follow suit. Soon the place is overrun with celebrities who want to party all the time, and we're treated to appearances from Keith Richards, Madonna, Posh Spice, David Bowie, and many other high-profile stars of every ilk. This madcap comedic satire, which lampoons the lifestyles of the rich and famous, was directed by Peter Richardson (EAT THE RICH).
