Plot: Fred Barlow (Jeff Daniels) is a door-to-door salesman peddling the "Super Sucker Home Cleaning System" which is a high-powered vacuum cleaner. Things are going well for Fred until his adversary and biggest competitor, Winslow Schnaebelt (Harve Presnell), begins to outsell him. Although Fred cannot compete with Winslow's flashy sales routine, he has a secret weapon in his assistant Howard Butterworth (Matt Letscher), whose youthful charm inspires Fred to do his best. SUPER SUCKER, a tongue-in-cheek comedy, is written and directed by Jeff Daniels.
