This unusual entry in the gory series was directed by John Carl Buechler, better know for his makeup effects work in films such as GHOULIES (1984) and RE-ANIMATOR

 It starts on a brisk enough pace but it eventually slows down into a lengthy blend of Jason killing and stalking while Lincoln's character freaks out and lets her powers throw things about.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)

The New Blood is a great movie if you're in for a lot of action, entertainment, blood and guts. It's the kind of movie you put on, when you just wanna sit back and enjoy. This might however dissapoint people who want to see something totally new and experimental, because The New Blood is - and I hate to admit it - more of what you have seen before in other movies, but that doesn't make it less entertaining!  -- (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
