Peter finds himself dumbfounded when a mysterious malady afflicts his wife... she thinks she's a dog! Earlier in their marriage, Lucy was a tender spouse and a gentle animal lover. Over time, breaking down in the face of the world's cruelties, she surrendered to a crazy wish to simplify her life - to love and to be loved unconditionally, and just bark! Meanwhile, Peter finds their family and friend's reactions to be just as dog-gone crazy. Maby life in the doghouse isn't so bad...
