A sad disappointment compared to the original. It has interesting elements, but are shadowed with plot-holes and over-dramatic and silly-sympathetic scenes. There's good action, but it fails to have the same brutality or impact as the first did. See thisif you're a big fan of the first movie, but don't get your hopes up like I did. 7/10-- (UHM)
In closing, I’ll sum it up with a brief comment I can’t claim it as my own, but it seems very apt: ‘Royale with cheese’. 6/10--Alex Ballard (thefilmasylum.com)
My advice would have to be to stay away from this reaker and watch the original again as this will just make you frustrated and might make your feelings about the original a bit more negative. However, if you like hundreds of explosions and gunshots, go ahead, at least it sounds nice in your home cinema system.  --AnthroFred (SlasherPool)
