Plot: The Danish family drama THE INHERITANCE (ARVEN) is part of a larger movement towards realism through digital filmmaking. Christoffer (Ulrich Thomsen, THE CELEBRATION) abandoned his family life for an idyllic existence with his wife Maria as a restaurateur. But when his father commits suicide, Christoffer is forced to return home at the beckon of his controlling mother.
