1.
Bruce Willis turns on the charm in The Whole Ten Yards, the sequel to the surprisingly popular The Whole Nine Yards. Willis returns as Jimmy "the Tulip," a former professional hitman, now living in Mexico with his bride Jill (Amanda Peet, Igby Goes Down), while his former neighbor Oz (Matthew Perry) lives happily with Jimmy's ex-wife Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge, Species). When mobster Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak, The Usual Suspects) kidnaps Cynthia to get revenge on Jimmy, Oz has to seek out Jimmy for help--only to eventually discover that there's some incomprehensible secret plan at work. The Whole Ten Yards was created purely because the previous movie made money; the sequel makes not an iota of sense. Willis coasts by on raw charisma, everyone else flounders (Henstridge seems completely bored). Fans of the first movie, however, may enjoy revisiting these antic characters. --Bret Fetzer

"Genuinely Hilarious." - Liam Mayclem, KRON-TV/San Francisco When last seen, retired hitman Jimmy "The Tulip" wasn't seen at all. He was dead and gone...to Mexico. Dentist Oz Oseransky faked dental records that proved Jimmy's death and allowed him to secretly vamoose to a bunny-slippered Baja life. Then one day Oz shows up uninvited with a simple request. H-E-L-L-L-P!
Five stars return for a crazier-plus-one sequel to The Whole Nine Yards. This time, Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is reeled in to help rescue Oz's wife (Natasha Henstridge) after phonetically challenged mobster Lazlo (Kevin Pollak) kidnaps her. Jimmy's wife (Amanda Peet), an eager wannabe assassin, is thrilled to be back in the game. Panicked Oz (Matthew Perry) is sure they're all going to wake up dead. And everything spins into gleeful new realms of the whacked and wacky. How does it all end this time? Sorry. Our tulips are sealed.

Retired hit man Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (BRUCE WILLIS) is enjoying the quiet life in a beachfront bungalow in Mexico.
Thanks to falsified dental records supplied by onetime neighbor and friend Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky, D.D.S. (MATTHEW PERRY) at the end of The Whole Nine Yards, Jimmy double-crossed the Gogolak gang and escaped the Feds by faking his own death. Now, secure in his Baja hideaway, Jimmy has traded in his shotgun for a dust buster and is learning to channel his natural intensity into more domestic pursuits like cleaning, decorating and perfecting his culinary skills while working through some of the personal issues that led him to a life of crime. Meanwhile, his wife Jill (AMANDA PEET), an idealistic wannabe assassin who has yet to pull off a clean hit, dreams of the good old days when the only thing her wild man Jimmy cared about wiping up was evidence.
Suddenly, an uninvited guest shows up on the Tudeskis' doorstep. It's Oz, breathless and desperate, begging them to help rescue his wife, Cynthia (NATASHA HENSTRIDGE), who has been kidnapped by the Gogolaks.
Jimmy couldn't be less interested. It's not his job anymore. But before he can toss Oz out on his ear, more gate-crashers arrive. Newly paroled mob boss Lazlo Gogolak (KEVIN POLLAK) and his goons have followed the naïve dentist down from L.A. and right into Jimmy's front yard. All that crazy old Lazlo has been thinking about in jail is how he's going to get even with Jimmy for knocking off his favorite son, Yanni, and how he's going to fix that conniving Oz for helping him get away with it.
Now Jimmy, Oz and Jill will have to go the whole nine yards - and then some - to save Cynthia, teach Lazlo a lesson and keep one step ahead of the mounting mayhem in this sequel to the 2000 hit comedy The Whole Nine Yards.

In hiding in Mexico, hit man Jimmy "The Tulip" Tudeski (Bruce Willis) has become a veritable Martha Stewart, cooking and cleaning up a storm. Meanwhile, his new wife Jill (Amanda Peet) is distraught that her own career as an assassin has yet to take off. When Jimmy's ex-wife Cynthia (Natasha Henstridge) is kidnapped by Hungarian mobster Lazlo Gogolak (Kevin Pollak), her husband, klutzy dentist Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry) turns to Jimmy for help. Soon, Jimmy, Jill, and Oz are involved in a game of cat and mouse with Lazlo and his men trying to trade Cynthia for Lazlo's dim-witted adult son, whom the trio has kidnapped. But do Jimmy and his ex have a secret that they're not sharing with their spouses? Are their new marriages just an elaborate ruse in order to pull off a huge scam? And will Oz ever see his beautiful wife again? Directed by Howard Deutch (PRETTY IN PINK, SOME KIND OF WONDERFUL), this sequel to THE WHOLE NINE YARDS is filled with quirky characters, amusing banter, and plenty of physical comedy. Pollak is particularly amusing as a master criminal surrounded by an inept team.
