Those in search of a love story may be put off by the movie's flippant tone and lack of resolution, and those who want a comedy won't appreciate the serious detour taken by the screenplay two-thirds of the way through. It's likely that Little Black Book will briefly bob to the multiplex surface before foundering and going under. And, if that is the film's ultimate fate, I can't argue with it. [read review]
