Plot: A fun vacation goes terribly wrong when young tourists become stranded on a mysteriously uninhabited Greek island. They soon find out that all of the former inhabitants have been violently murdered by an insane, rotten-smelling madman who is out to systematically kill each of them! An unforgettable night of terror occurs as the tourists attempt to escape from his murderous clutches by finding out his secrets.The dark, foreboding waters of the Aegean carry a group of young tourists to a mysterious Greek Island. There, they discover the island's village completely abandoned, its inhabitants having vanished without a trace. Returning to the shore, they discover that their ship has drifted away. With no choice but to wait for the high tide the next morning, the group must remain on the island overnight. Occupying and abandoned house, the group is attacked by a young blind girl wielding a knife. Before they can stop her, she stabs one of the men. Once subdued, the girl tells them the harrowing tale of a madman who is stalking the island... a madman who reeks of rotting flesh and blood.  Director Massaccessi (under the D'Amato pseudoymn) manages to scrounge up a few moodily suspenseful moments and after a good opening sequence this settles down into a lesuirely paced and darkly shot semi-slasher flick. ... Still fairly watchable with a decent musical score. Plays like there's some gore missing though.  -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
