Plot: A richly detailed, delightfully chilling horror tale, centering around romanticism's poetic elite. It's also hideously confusing and bordering on nonsensical, filled as it is with nonsequitous dialogue delivered by a capable cast that nonetheless decides to overact. 23/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)
Despite some impressive special effects, wild lighting, bugs, rats, leeches and other fun horror movie elements, this is an arty farty mess from Russell, who is a hit and miss director. ... Sick intellectuals might get a kick out of it though.-- (eSplatter.com)
