external linkAveraging a death every five minutes or so this has some okay satire and isn’t too bad despite a silly finale that leaves it open for yet another inevitable sequel. ... Not the best of the series, but mild fun anyway. 2/4

external linkFriday the 13th Part VI is played much more for laughs than other films in the series, and some moments of humor actually do help the entertainment value of the film. Of course, most fail miserably, like the bit early in the film that features the most ridiculous James Bond reference in the history of cinema. 30/100

external linkAn absolute must-see, “Part 6” is one of the best of the entire “Friday” series.

external linkThe film itself looks superb. Well shot, atmospherically lit, and crisply paced, which is something that applies to most of the franchise. This film was also the first F13 to have a stereo sound mix, and it adds layers to the films ambience. 4.5/5
