Into the Blue Reviews |
Into the Blue might be more enjoyable as a silent film. Not only would that spare us countless passages of purple prose, but it would distill the movie to its essence: bikini-clad actresses and some impressive underwater photography. Honestly, some of those shots of multi-hued tropical fish are impressive. [read review] --James Berardinelli (ReelViews)
There is not one redeeming quality to this movie, and no reason to see it aside from pure star-struck salivation… and even that wears off after about the 20th close up of Alba's backside. [read review] --James Brundage (MovieWeb)
Any way you slice it, In the Blue is a bad movie. It's a movie that comes across as something Sony and MGM not only will want to forget but should've shelved. [read review] --Brian Oliver (MovieMansGuide.com)
Into the Blue would probably work better as a rental unless you are bound and determined to see the gals work their magic on the big screen. [read review] D+
Into the Blue is a brainless, forgettable thriller that quickly sinks without a trace, despite an attractive cast and gorgeous photography. [read review] --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
'Into the Blue' offers hard bodies and little else. [read review] --Chelsea Bain (BostonHerald.com)
