 This is also BY FAR the darkest of the series, and Freddy is definitely at his meanest - not the wannabe-comedian that he becomes after Part 3. Many people will argue that this is the worst of the Nightmare movies due to its cheeziness and obvious exploitations, but I believe that the unintentional humor found therein is part of what gives this movie its charm.
