Frankie Muniz (who was paid $5m for reprising his role as Cody Banks) shot the film during the summer break from Malcolm in the Middle.
Muniz had two months martial arts training prior to filming. The screenwriter had less time to prepare – the script was allegedly still being written whilst filming took place!
