The dark, bushy eyebrows of Frankie Muniz star in Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London, ably supported by the natty facial hair of Anthony Anderson (Kangaroo Jack) and the freckled chipmunk cheeks of British pop starlet Hannah Spearritt. Teenage secret agent Cody Banks (Muniz, Malcolm in the Middle) must track down a former instructor who's gone rogue with a mind-control microchip. Banks masquerades as a musical prodigy to get close to a snobby, egocentric scientist in London who's the only person who can make the microchip work. Along the way Banks hooks up with a demoted agent (Anderson) and a cute-as-a-bug Scotland Yard operative (Spearritt). Flimsy, disposable, but only occasionally insulting, Cody Banks 2 will most likely entertain fans of the first movie. Also featuring supporting stalwarts Cynthia Stevenson (The Player, Happiness), Anna Chancellor (Four Weddings and a Funeral), and Keith David (There's Something About Mary). --Bret Fetzer
DVD features The two main extras of Cody Banks 2: Destination London are targeted toward kids. Rather than a full-length audio-only commentary track, Frankie Muniz, Anthony Anderson, and Hannah Spearritt appear in a "visual cast commentary," in which they pause the movie and come on-screen to discuss it. Their comments are brief and intended for younger viewers ("One of the greatest things about making a movie is how they edit it" or "Those Segways are the coolest things ever invented."). You have to watch the film again to participate in the interactive quiz--and again, the actors stop the action and offer multiple-choice questions about details that just appeared, such as what a character was wearing. It's refreshing that both features don't assume that kids will refuse to watch a movie with black bars on the screen: they're available on the widescreen version, not the pan-and-scan version. Also included are a brief making-of featurette, three deleted scenes, and three extended scenes. --David Horiuchi

Frankie Muniz reprises his role as teenage CIA agent Cody Banks in this sequel directed by Kevin Allen (THE BIG TEASE, TWIN TOWN). Cody's parents believe that he is having a blissful summer as a counselor at sleep-away camp. Little do they know that Kamp Woody is really a secret CIA training camp for kids, and that their sixteen-year old son has been sent to London to track down the camp's director, Diaz (Keith Allen), a demoted agent with a diabolical plot. Diaz is planning to join forces with British aristocrat Lord Duncan Kenworth (James Faulkner) and take control of the world using stolen mind control software implanted in the teeth of world leaders. Dispatched to London to foil Diaz's plan, Banks is provided with an array of cool gadgets, such as explosive Mentos (a mint candy) and a retainer that doubles as a tracking device, as well as a fully loaded black London cab that James Bond would love. Meanwhile, lovely Emily (Hannah Spearitt) from Scotland Yard's teen training division is on the case as well. Anthony Anderson plays Derek, an agent who is assigned to assist Banks during his London adventure.

Saving the world…again. Frankie Muniz returns as super-cool spy Cody Banks in the action-packed family comedy Agent Cody Banks: Destination London.
In Cody’s new adventure, a rogue CIA agent (and Cody’s own instructor) has stolen a top secret mind-control device from the U.S. government. With worldwide security at stake, Cody has to go undercover in London to get it back. “Over the pond” and in hot water, Cody is forced to pose as a student at an elite music boarding school and keep the other kids from discovering his true identity, all while infiltrating covert hideouts, tracking his target – and practicing the clarinet. To help him on his mission, Cody is assigned a new handler: a wisecracking CIA reject named Derek (Anthony Anderson) who’s desperately trying to get back into the Agency’s good graces. He’s supposed to be posing as the boarding school chef, but unfortunately he has no idea how to cook.
As things get more difficult (and more fun!), the duo finds surprise help from a fellow student named Emily (Hannah Spearritt), a hip, beautiful British Secret Service counterpart to Cody’s CIA teen. Together they’re on a madcap journey above, below, and around London to retrieve the mind-control device and keep from getting caught – and with them on the loose, God save the Queen! Packed with comedy, all-new gadgets, and tight new martial arts moves, Cody ultimately has to face and fight the toughest enemy possible – the very man who taught him everything he knows.
