JOEY KERN graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts drama program, and has since appeared in numerous Off-Broadway plays, including Sir Peter Hall’s production of Troilus Jez Butterworth’s Mojo; and Philip Ridley’s the fastest clock in the universe. Joey has received rave reviews in The NY Times, NY Post and The Daily News. Joey has also been profiled twice in The New York Times , Sunday Arts section, for his various performances.
In film and television, Joey starred in Diego Donnhofer’s The Virgin, official selection of the Toronto Film Festival in 1999 and the Berlin Film Festival in 2000; Austin Chick’s XX/XY, which played at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival and Peter Sehr’s Love The Hard Way, also a 2002 Sundance selection and most recently as Sweet Lou in the upcoming Warner Brothers skater film Grind. Joey received critical praise for his portrayal as a stoner in Broken Lizzard’s Supertroopers. He has appeared on HBO’s "Sex in the City," as well as ABC’s "Wonderland."
