RIDER STRONG made his professional acting debut at the age of 10 as Gavroche in the San Francisco production of Les Miserables. In 1993, Strong began work on the ABC series "Boy Meets World," which lasted for seven seasons. When "Boy Meets World" finished its final season, Rider produced and starred in the independent feature, Buck Naked Arson, which received a Gold Award at the Houston World Festival and won Best Dramatic Feature at the Angelciti Film Festival. The following season, he starred in the UPN pilot, "Definitely Maybe." Strong moved to New York City to continue his education at Columbia University and in the fall of 2001 he took a semester off to star in Cabin Fever.
