 Although the novel is apparently good, this is an unwatchably bad movie and was one of the reasons that studios actually began taking King's names off of film titles when bomb after bomb was produced under his moniker. [read review]

Adaptation of Stephen King's novel starts out as a promising little film, but ends up as a dragged out explosion fest. A good first hour, but it goes downhill from there. George C. Scott is awful. [read review]
