Plot: First-time director Greg Page's ghost-horror film THE LOCALS is a story of two friends who accidentally enter a heartland of horror. The film was released in New Zealand by Essential Films and has been sold to more than 40 countries. Kelly Rogers of Essential Films said this film is "a marvellously entertaining ghost horror film that will delight you, scare-the-pants off you, make you squeal, and send shivers down your spine. It maintains very high adrenalin levels throughout."
