NICOLE ARI PARKER (Carol Boone) knew that she always wanted to be an actress. In her hometown of Baltimore, Maryland she participated in the Baltimore Actors Theatre and the Washington Ballet Company before moving to New York to study acting at New York University. Parker is a graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts, Circle in the Square studio.
Her film credits include "Blue Streak," "Boogie Nights," "The End of Violence," "Subway Stories," "200 Cigarettes" and "Sebastian Cole," a winner at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival.
In August 1999, Parker received a special award at the Urban-World Film Festival in New York where the jury cited her outstanding body of work. Parker appeared in four of the festival's featured films: "Blue Streak" and the independent movies "Mute Love," "Loving Jezabel" and "Divas."
On television, she appeared in the Wonderful World of Disney's "The Loretta Claiborne Story," with Camryn Manheim and Kimberly Elise. Other television credits include "Exiled," "Mind Prey" and "Divas."
Parker has an extensive background in theatre. Some of her many performances on stage include "Chicago," "House of Lear" and "Romeo and Juliet."
