Despite some decent suspense in the opening sequence, a kick-ass electronic music score and some okay gore this would've fared better as a stand-alone film even though it suffers from having a paranoid conspiracy plot that doesn't work too well... -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
...the attempts at a sense of oncoming doom are squashed by writing with little sense of direction, and the whole thing collapses under the weight of unnecessary special effects and silly dialogue. 45/100--Jack Witzig (ColdSpot)

A "sequel" that wouldn't even be available today if it didn't have the name "Halloween" attached to it.-- (eSplatter.com)
