Awfully amateurish, a comic book film more concerned with its own style than about actually giving us that one final layer that makes the character complete. D--Craig Younkin (Lee's Movie Info)
‘Blade Trinity,’ the third movie based on the Marvel comics character, is a fun crowd-pleaser that will thrill action/vampire movie buffs. Look a little closer and you’ll find that this movie may disappoint hardcore fans of either the first two films or the comic itself with inconsistencies galore. --Harrison Cheung (Movie-Gurus.com)
Even for diehard fans of the comic series or the first two movies, it's difficult to imagine this film satisfying for anyone. Trinity tries to be inventive by introducing new vampire hybrids (in a Rottweiler and a Pomeranian), brave new allies, and intricate new weapons. Yet, much of this is severely overshadowed by dialogue that is corny, irrelevant, and laughably bad. --David Levine (FilmCritic.com)
This is not to say that Blade Trinity is perfect. It's a little bit predicable, especially Act Three, as Blade et al face the über-dude. Yes, it all gets a little bit butt-twitchy as we wait for the inevitable climax. And yes, it's still hard to root forsomeone whose eyes we can't see due to the damn sunglasses, but maybe that's the joke? --Blake Snyder (MovieWeb)
There is so very much that is so very irksome about BLADE TRINITY, the third installment in the Blade series and the one with the least reason to exist, that one scarcely knows where to begin. One is tempted to sum it all up with a short sentence warningpotential audiences to stay away, but I find venting cathartic after cinematic experiences this unpleasant, hence the rant that follows forthwith. --Andrea Chase (Killer Movie Reviews)
Although fairly expensive to produce, “Blade: Trinity” is on the level of one of those made-for-video sequels that have a familiar title going for it and not much else. --Peter Sobczynski (eFilmCritic.com)
But Goyer earns a few brownie points for delivering doses of campy, gory goodness and for presenting a "Part 3" that doesn't just flat-out suck. --Scott Weinberg (eFilmCritic.com)
"Blade Trinity" is not a comedy, but its funny parts are more memorable than its action-horror parts, which are competent but unremarkable. I cannot tell what fans of the series will think, because as I mentioned, I am not a very good fan myself. Most ofthe film has drained from my memory already, as if sucked out by some fanged, malevolent force. B---Eric D. Snider (EricDSnider.com)
Badly plotted sequel that sidelines Snipes but remains watchable thanks to serviceable action sequences, some witty dialogue and the performances of Reynolds and Posey. --Matthew Turner (ViewLondon)
"Trinity" lacks anything vaguely resembling a plot, while failing to deliver suspense or thrills. --V.A. Musetto (New York Post)
