James Dobbey (England) | 02/22/2006 | Good independent film
I checked this film out a couple of nights ago and I have to say that it was pretty good. The lead (played by Chris Workman) started off weak but got really, really strong about twenty minutes into the film and stayed that way. He brought real emotion to the role of Brandon, a scarred young man who seeks to eliminate the men who raped his female best friend, Samantha (Telsa). Telsa is also terrific. But while the leads are good, the incidental acting isn't so strong, despite a strong central plot and decent script. The villains overacted, which brought down the natural appeal of the three lead actors and their subtle portrayels. In addition, the direction and editing were only so-so. I'd still give it four out of five starts.
