Creepshow Reviews |
The film is gory, the great music by Joel Harrison is reminiscent of "Halloween" and the shocks kick ass. In short, this is a must-see and is still very accessible, even to pimple-faced teenagers that haven't seen much beyond "Scream." [read review] -- (eSplatter.com)
Overall this is an affectionate homage that just doesn't seem to have enough of an edge to it to work as a creepy horror anthology, but if you're looking for something to put on during a rainy day, then Creepshow fits the bill nicely. [read review] -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)
This film doesn't really have many down points at all, it never gets boring, it's scary, funny, gory, has a great cast, and once again proves that Stephen King is one of the greatest writers of all time. A Classic. [read review] --Ian Button (Diabolical-Dominion.com)
Colorful, amusing, and awfully simple - just like a comic book. 80s answer to Tales from the crypt, and one of George Romero's most lighthearted productions. [read review] --Slicer-Dicer (SlasherPool)
