JAMES KING (Angela) impressed audiences as the wide-eyed, innocent nurse Betty in Jerry Bruckheimer's epic film PEARL HARBOR opposite Ben Affleck, Josh Hartnett and Kate Beckinsale.
She also appeared opposite Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz as Kristina Sunshine in the New Line feature film BLOW, and in the comedy HAPPY CAMPERS directed by Daniel Waters, which screened at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival. King also completed the independent film FOUR FACES OF GOD directed by Anthony Hartman. Following SLACKERS she will be seen starring opposite Joshua Jackson, D.J. QuaIls and Matt Davis in the Screen Gems comedy LONE STAR STATE OF MIND, scheduled for a March, 2002 release.
King began an astonishingly successful modeling career at the age of fifteen when she was discovered by a New York modeling agent in her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. She moved to New York and immediately began to land prestigious editorial assignments including shoots with Vogue, Mademoiselle, Allure and Seventeen. A veteran of many print campaigns including Kenneth Cole, Bebe, Express and Abercrombie & Fitch, King also was a guest host of MTV'S "House of Style" and was featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan, Mademoiselle and Details and appeared in the 1999 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
