Kate Hudson in Gossip (2000) KATE HUDSON (Naomi Preston) made her film debut in "200 Cigarettes," co-starring with Ben Affleck, Courtney Love, Jay Mohr, Casey Affleck and Christina Ricci. She also co starred in director Morgan J. Freeman's "Desert Blue." Hudson has completed three films that will be released in 2000: the romantic comedy "About Adam," which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival; Cameron Crowe's as-yet-untitled first feature since "Jerry Maguire" about the world of '70s rock 'n' roll as seen through the eyes of a young journalist; and Robert Altman's "Dr. T and the Women." opposite Richard Gere, Helen Hunt and Laura Dern.
