Plot: This second sequel to 1997's surprise hit begins after the cockroach plague of the first film devastated New York City. It follows Marvin, a young man whose various respiratory illnesses have forced him to live in a protected plastic encasing. Saddled with being known as the "bubble boy" as well as with a dysfunctional family, Marvin retreats to his own corner of the world, which is whatever he can see out of his bedroom window. However, when the flesh hungry mutated cockroaches from the first two films invade the neighborhood, Marvin must band together with his family to survive.

A decent sequel in a lame series. Manages to capture some good suspense by being an Alfred Hitchcock's Read Window copycat, but starts to dumb down once we realize it's a Mimic film. A good rent if you're looking for something different and some suspsense, but don't bother if you want good horror or action. 6/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
This is a pretty uninvolving sequel that's quiet to start and even at a slim 76 minute running time is dull. The problem here is that the film gets almost halfway in and barely anything has happened. Throw in the fact that the characters aren't really that likeable, it manages to waste genre favourite Lance Henriksen in a bit role and the effects are a tad cheap looking and you have another mediocre sequel from Dimension. -- (TheVideoGraveYard.com)

Overall, I found this movie to be a lot of fun, a lot more than I expected. The movie was pulled together very well with its mix of great acting, directing, editing, and sound effects. Watching this I feel like our culture is moving towards the ways of Asia, where the video industry is almost better than what you can see in the theaters! --Mr Disgusting (Bloody-Disgusting.com)
