Dakota Dellinger (Manhattan Beach C.A.) | 09/01/2006 | The Fog
Ever since I've seen his movies they've always had really creepy themes and their just flat out hands down amazing and scary. The Fog was absolutely fantastic no doubt it started out real haunted like in the beginning. For instance gas pumps would fall from the holder, clocks would mysteriously break, and vehicles would start and honk for a period of time on their own then stop real quick. It really scares you bad if you have it loud. Then as the fog rolls in the real scary shit happens. The music from start to finish really gives the movie a real creepy, grisly image that I love. The ending is the best when you can see the dead crew at the church. Their even creepier up close especially the end when they assume they have stopped the terror the priest walks back in unsurprised and unaware of anything unusual then you can see the main ghost comes back and slashes the poor bastard and just goes black that's how the movie ended. I just love the ending everytime I see it I go "Oh crap damn that's a good ending" For people who loves scary movies this one delivers real ghostly chills that leave you in a state of fear. Excellent film doesn't get any better than this. Don't see the new one because it sucks bad it's crap compared to the original you will be disappointed if you buy it. Get the Carpenter version it makes more sense and isn't a waste of money. If people ask you if the new one is good say No! it sucks get the original instead. It's totally worth watching on Halloween night.
