Tagline: Beyond the darkness terror lives forever.

Plot: Hellgate seems like a model community in every respect, except for one problem: it's populated by the undead. A single resident takes on the necessary task of luring the living into town for slaughtering, so that everyone can be fed. Despite the horror, one young man who manages to get out unharmed cannot resist returning to the scene of the crimes to learn, once and for all, the mystery of Hellgate.

external linkLevey's last movie is by no means a masterpiece. But it's suspenseful and surprising enough to make it a worthwhile watch. On a shoestring budget, Levey managed to deliver plenty of atmosphere and, although he wasn't given much acting talent to work with, made the film's simple grad student characters likeable.
