One of the earlier slasher flicks, that suprising has barely any deaths and zero gore. A decent flick in the end only because it's directed fairly well and didn't have a bad story. Though, in the end it suffers from being too boring for the lack of any action going on. Rent if you want, but I wouldn't recommend it. 5/10--FrighT MasteR (UHM)
Perhaps the first "Babysitter stalked by a killer movie," "Fright" is nonetheless an overrated early 1970s horror film. Maybe it did inspire "Halloween" and "When a Stranger Calls" a bit. ... Typical "Hitchcockian" fare that didn't stand the test of time.-- (eSplatter.com)
