While the set-up is nothing but standard and some of the mayhem gets a bit over-the-top at times this is a fairly entertaining time with some okay shocks... There's certainly a lot worse 'possessed house' movies out there. 

The premise is promising--an old house, an overactor, and a trapped demon. Unfortanutely, the movie degenerates into another variation on the Ten Little Indians storyline, with each of the students getting knocked off in different ways.

I also liked the story of the film, especially towards the end when it turns into something more than your typical haunted house flick. ... An underrated haunted house movie. Interesting story and deaths. Not scary, but worth a rent if you can find it. 6/10 --FrighT MasteR (UHM)
