MATTHEW DAVIS (Warner), a relative newcomer to Hollywood, has already established himself as a viable leading man. Three months after he arrived in L.A., he landed starring roles in Urban Legends: The Final Cut and Tigerland for director Joel Schumacher. He also recently appeared as a fighter pilot in this summer's hit war drama Pearl Harbor, directed by Michael Bay.
Davis began his acting career at the University of Utah, where he performed in productions of "The Merry Wives of Windsor," "School for Scandal," and "Ordinary People." During his summer break, his dedication to acting led him to New York, where he performed in such plays as "You Can't Take it With You," "Antigone" and "Romeo and Juliet" for the Julliard School of Performing Arts.
Recently Davis was in Austin, Texas, filming Lone Star State of Mind, starring opposite Joshua Jackson and James King for director David Semel. He next traveled to London to begin production on Below, a World War II supernatural thriller by writer-helmer David Twohy.
