Plot: Things That Hang from Trees is a classic American tale set in the oldest city in America. A unique, southern-gothic story about an unusual eight-year-old boy fighting to extract some good out of a life of instability. Things That Hang from Trees gives us Jesus on the intercom, a barely-breathing, naked mannequin for a mother, and a Live Oak that traps the local wayward trash, animal, vegetable, and mineral.
