Plot: The news that all parents dreaded during the Vietnam war reaches a suburbanite couple (John Marley and Lynn Carlin) when they learn that their son has perished and will not be returning home. Grief stricken, the couple find the news hard to accept. Good news occurs a few days later, however, when their son returns home, seemingly unscathed from battle.
